Building Services Manager – East Midlands
Building Services Manager – An exciting oppurtunity for a Building services manager to join our client, a successful main contractor working on a variety of new build construction and refurbishment projects up to £30 million, they are looking for an experience Building Services Manager to join the growing team in the East Midlands.
Duties
Technical Support & Design Review: Provide technical support to design teams, review and shape M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) designs, and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
Site & Commissioning Oversight: Visit sites regularly, lead commissioning phases, and assist site teams with technical queries, ensuring successful installation and commissioning of systems.
Collaboration & Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with MEP supply chains, attend and lead M&E discussions, and support commercial and pre-construction teams with feedback and lessons learned.
Experience
Experience in performing a BSM or supervisory role within an M&E discipline for operational delivery
Experience on a variety of M&E projects in a wide range of sectors
Commercial acumen and a solid understanding of all relevant M&E and services legislation
Proficient use of and Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc. Excel, Word, Outlook
